Aging is a mammoth leap in a woman’s life. The moment she starts greying or discovers wrinkles, her worst nightmare becomes a reality. Most women try and avoid Botox or artificial face lift because of the tedious task of having to do it over and over. Aging is not always a result of age, but can be an outcome of a hectic schedule. Signs of aging can appear at an early age, depending on the ability to follow a healthy routine. Below are a few simple healthy habits you can slip into your daily routine
1. Glug Glug! Drink plenty of water in a day
Water is surprisingly the solution to numerous problems. It tends to clear out your system to bring out a healthy glow in your skin. Water can help slow down the process of aging, as it clears your skin to a gentle yet visible glow, making you look younger than your natural age.
2. Moisturize away!
Cleanse and moisturize your skin before going to bed every night, as it obliterates all the dirt of the day that has accumulated itself on your sensitive skin. Premature aging is a consequence of dry skin, and it enhances the speed of aging in a woman’s body. Make sure you follow this practice religiously. Also, when going out into the sun, ensure that you use a good 30+SPF sunscreen. The sun can damage your skin to make it look dull and older. Using sunscreens that protect your skin from the harmful UV rays of the sun can help reduce the pace of aging.
3. Fishy business!
A healthy diet is the best way to slow down the process of aging. Add naturally oily fish into your diet, as it naturally moisturizes your skin to a healthy supple texture. Adding greens to your diet can never go in vain. Include as much leafy greens in your daily diet as you can, as it clears your stomach as well increases the iron content in your blood, which in turn ensures better blood circulation in your body. Also, did you know that the sweetness in grapes that comes from Sorbitol tends to bring out a young glow on your face?! Applying it at least twice a week helps bring back the young glow that is fast depleting.
4. Say no to sugar!
Sugar can be the root cause to many long lasting diseases. Cutting sugar and substituting it with natural foods that have sugar content in them will work better for you. Sugar can play a major role in the aging process, and avoiding it will show visible signs of youth in your skin.
Getting enough sleep not only refreshes your mind, but also shows a lustrous glow on your skin. Silk or satin pillowcases are not as rough on your skin as other cases. They are not only gentle on your skin, but also reduce the risk of hair fall from rough pillow cases.
6. Less foundation lessens your age!
Reduce the use of foundation on your skin. The product has innumerable amounts of chemicals that can be hazardous to your skin. Try and use products that are mild on your skin. Foundation tends to block the pores on your skin, which does not allow it to breath, speeding up the process of aging.
7. Shape your eyebrows!
Picking the right brow shape can also make a difference in the way you look. Shape your eyebrows in such a way that it suits your face, and doesn’t make you look too young or too old. Consult your dermatologists and parlour assistants to help you pick the perfect shape of eyebrows.
8. Say cheese!
Smiling wide can make you look younger. It is the most efficient therapy to stay and look young. Do not lose an opportunity to flaunt your widest grin!
9. Work that body!
Exercise at least once a day. It keeps your body fit. Go out and breath in some fresh air while taking a stroll or jogging, as this will make you look younger by the day.
