If you’ve just stopped with the breastfeeding, we understand what state you’re in right now. It is completely normal both to miss it and feel relieved. However, now that your child is done with breastfeeding, it is time for them to consume other foods. Your next step is to learn what works best for your toddler, keeping in mind his/her delicate digestive system and growth.

You needn’t do this alone. Listed below are a few dishes that are extremely healthy and your child will enjoy moving on to.

Let us have a look at them below.

1. Sweet Potato Puree

You will need a sweet potato, yoghurt, cereal and a dash of cinnamon. Mix all the ingredients well and feed this to your baby in small morsels.

2. Pumpkin Puree

Mash some pumpkin and make a puree of it. Add yoghurt to it with a dash of cinnamon. Mix well and bring it to the desired consistency.

3. Mashed Banana

Banana soft and squishy – just the way your baby likes it. Mash a banana and feed this super food to your baby in small morsels. They will love it!

4. Carrot Stew

Mix apples and carrots with rice, oatmeal and yoghurt. Mash and mix all these ingredients together till the mixture reaches a paste-like consistency. Feed your baby this highly nutritious meal in small morsels.

5. Peach

Peaches for your little peach! Peaches taste best when cooked and pureed (for your baby), and are a great source of vitamins and nutrients of your baby.

 A small but crucial tip:

Feed your baby each of these fruits and veggies separately to see if he/she is allergic to any of them. In case he/she is fine after you’ve tested all of these foods on them, you can begin mixing them to make yummy dishes for your little one. In case they react to or resist any of the above foods, do not feed him/her that particular fruit or vegetable and consult your paediatrician immediately.

Hope we were able to solve your problem.

Happy Parenting!
