A few rupees here and there never hurt anyone, in fact, they come in handy in a lot of situations.
If you’re a stay-at-home mom who has a little time on her hands then you can contribute to the family’s finances by doing these easy but effective things that earn money right from the comforts of your home.
1. Online surveys
There are a lot of websites like Swagbucks, American Consumer opinion, Toluna, Global test market and so on which offer money for each and every survey you take. Most of the times they are personally curated to you. This is done by taking a few personal details of yours.
There are also a few websites that pay money for rating other websites or using a certain search engine. Just make sure to find legitimate sites because a lot of fake ones are out there. A simple technique to identify them is – If they ask you to pay a certain amount upfront, then the website is most likely fake.
2. Downloading apps
Almost all of us own a smartphone now, you’re probably reading this on a smartphone right now! A few apps pay money or give rewards every time you perform a certain task. Google’s opinions rewards, Squadrun, Taskbucks etc. Even by giving referrals in ola and uber you can earn a few discounts or cash backs.
3. Sell old things
As your child grows older, there will definitely be a few things that won’t be of use anymore. You can sell them online using OLX and get good deals for them. It barely takes a few seconds to take a pic and upload it. You can sell anything from clothes, toys to even your vehicle! (But maybe consult with your family members before doing this..)Even old books can be sold on amazon or Flipkart.
4. Become a blogger
Being a blogger doesn’t take exceptional grammar skills. You can write about whatever you’re good at. If your cooking is something that guarantees a compliment from everyone who tries it, maybe you can start a cooking blog or if you love traveling, you can have a travel blog. But wait, you don’t make money by just writing blogs. You make money when your blog brings in an audience and you can grow your blog big enough to get advertisings and affiliations. Oooh, maybe you can even become a Youtuber!
Whatever skills you have acquired, you can actually become a freelancer and “license-out” these skills to people who need them. Whether it’s writing, graphic designing, photography or animation, you can make better use of them by freelancing them.
So, are you going to try any of these out and make some extra cash?
